Shipping policy

At ALFIQ, every product is individually handcrafted using traditional copper-working techniques. Please review the following shipping terms carefully before placing an order.

Order Processing Time

All orders are processed within 1–14 business days.

Processing times vary depending on:

  • Product category

  • Custom measurements or size requests

  • Color, finish, or lining selection

  • Product complexity and handmade copper craftsmanship requirements

  • Order volume and quality control processes

Some items are produced made-to-order and require additional preparation and inspection time to meet our quality standards.

Processing times are estimates, not guarantees. By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept these terms.

ALFIQ reserves the right to extend processing times when necessary due to craftsmanship requirements, raw material availability, seasonal demand, or operational constraints. Such extensions do not constitute a breach of contract and are not valid grounds for order cancellation, chargeback claims, or payment disputes.

  • United Kingdom

  • European Union

  • Selected international destinations

Shipping Methods and Estimated Delivery Times

Delivery times are calculated after dispatch and may vary depending on carrier performance and destination.

  • United States: 3–7 business days

  • United Kingdom and Europe: 5–10 business days

  • International: 7–14 business days

Expedited shipping options may be available at checkout where applicable. Estimated delivery times do not include processing time.

Shipping Costs

Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on destination, package dimensions, weight, and selected shipping method. All shipping charges are displayed before payment confirmation.

Customs, Duties, and Import Taxes

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT, or brokerage fees imposed by the destination country.

These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer and are not included in product prices or shipping fees. Refusal to pay customs charges may result in delayed delivery, return, or abandonment of the shipment, for which ALFIQ is not responsible.

Customs-related delays are outside our control and do not qualify for refunds or chargebacks.

Shipping Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information.

ALFIQ is not liable for:

  • Delivery delays

  • Lost shipments

  • Additional carrier charges

resulting from incorrect or incomplete address details submitted at checkout.

Reshipment costs caused by address errors will be the responsibility of the customer.

Tracking and Delivery Confirmation

Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking details. Tracking information may take up to 24 hours to activate depending on the carrier.

A shipment marked as delivered by the carrier is considered successfully fulfilled. ALFIQ is not responsible for theft, loss, or misplacement after confirmed delivery.

Delays Beyond Our Control

ALFIQ is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Shipping carriers

  • Customs inspections

  • Weather conditions

  • Public holidays

  • Force majeure events

Such delays do not qualify for refunds, cancellations, or chargeback claims.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery at team@alfiqcopper.com, including:

  • Order number

  • Clear photos of the item and packaging

Failure to report issues within this timeframe may result in claim denial.

Refused or Unclaimed Shipments

If a shipment is refused or left unclaimed by the customer, any resulting return shipping costs, customs charges, or carrier fees will be deducted from the refund. In some cases, unclaimed shipments may not be recoverable.
